Last year marked the centenary of Henry David Lee’s famous denim creation, Lee. But Henry David had already been feeding the cowboys, ranch hands, farmers and cattle drivers that would become the early adopters of his denim wear, since 1889 in fact, with his fine food business.

So this year marks 125 years since Lee went into business and as the company says, you learn a lot in 125 years – a lot of lessons have been learnt, in Lee. To mark the occasion Australian analogue film photographer Cara Stricker teamed with stylist Britt McCamey, make-up artist Max May and a random cat named Oscar to shoot models Megan Irwin and Isaac Carew in the Lee AW 14 collection.
